With respect to the injury sustained by Sami Zayn on last night’s RAW in Montreal, it is being told that the injury happened even before the match against WWE United States Champion John Cena. Zayn looked in pain when he raised his arm for the crowd after making an entrance into the ring.
He continued the fight even though he was showing signs of injury to his arm. A WWE trainer did check on Zayn in the middle of the match after the referee showed the “X” symbol. However, he appeared with a bandaged shoulder on the stage for post-RAW Pat Patterson Appreciation Night segment.
Zayn will undergo an MRI scan today which shall reveal the extent of his injury. Before this, Zayn was out of action from the NXT ring with a similar shoulder injury until April 2nd. Last night’s match against Cena is being stated as his Official RAW debut for Zayn but we are unsure if he is on the main roster yet. Zayn has been scheduled for upcoming WWE TV taping but all depends on his MRI results.
