Joe Doering w/ Violent By Design vs Satoshi Kojima w/ Eddie Edwards at IMPACT Wrestling Against All Odds
IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion Joe Doering faced off with NJPW's Satoshi Kojima in the next matchup. These two heavy hitters started off by trying to bring one another down with shoulder blocks. Kojima managed to do the impossible after a few shots to the knees, but Doering responded with a massive running tackle that ran right through the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
Violent By Design cheered on as Doering choked out Kojima. The massive heavyweight dwarfed his opponent and made sure to use that size advantage. Doering locked in the Boston Crab, but Kojima was able to crawl to the ropes.
IMPACT Wrestling's giant crushed Kojima with a series of body splashes, but Kojima fought back with a series of machine gun chops followed by a flying forearm to the jaw. A roaring elbow seemed to daze Doering, but he caught his legendary rival with a spinebuster.
On the floor, Kojima dropped Doering spine-first on the apron but was attacked by Violent By Design. Kojima shrugged it off, sending former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Rhyno into the ring post. Back in the ring a DDT spiked Doering, but a flying crossbody from Doering nearly cut Kojima in half.
Kojima kicked out and fired up, nearly getting a victory with the Koji Cutter. Doering kicked out and hit a clothesline of his own but couldn't get the win. He was able to pull off a major victory, however, with a hellacious spin-out powerbomb, setting Violent By Design up for a big night at IMPACT Wrestling Against All Odds.
