The opening match got a standing ovation; Kenny Omega ruined another major

The IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion was backstage where he was met by Eddie Edwards, Petey Williams, and challenger TJP. Scott D'Amore thanked TJP and Alexander for putting on that match. He said that he was proud to have two wrestlers like them on his roster, and who could blame him? That match was spectacular.

Josh Alexander stated that he was the standard-bearer and king of the mountain in IMPACT Wrestling. Until the World Title came back, he was on top.

Several X-Division stars came in when he left, asking D'Amore for a shot. Considering Alexander's words...King of the Mountain...maybe we'll see that return?

Tables Match: Rohit Raju vs Jake Something on IMPACT Wrestling

The Mocca Skin Manimal of IMPACT Wrestling nearly sent Jake Something through a table as he ducked a clothesline near the ropes. Jake pulled him over to the apron, looking to powerbomb Rohit Raju through the wood. Raju escaped and brought Jake back inside, taking him off his feet before going for a few chairs.

Jake knocked the chair out of Rohit's hand and battered him with elbows and clubbing forearms. Rohit countered another powerbomb, but Jake caught him going for the leaping flatliner. A hellacious clothesline nearly took Rohit's head off, and Jake followed with a big shoulder tackle in the corner.

Rohit countered the Black Hole Slam with a leaping double stomp before grabbing the chair. Jake was pelted with steel as the former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion drove it into his long-time rival over and over again. Divorce Court with a steel chair left Jake's left arm hanging by a thread.

As Jake fought back, he was cut off with a chair to the shoulder. A tilt-a-whirl into the crossface left Jake in major trouble, but since it was a Tables Match it didn't really matter.

Raju set up some chairs as Jake brought in a table. Rohit sent Jake face-first into the chairs, and a jumping knee/running knee strike left the big man nearly unconscious. As Rohit set up to knock Jake off the apron to the table below, Jake caught him with a big clothesline.

A low blow dropped Jake and IMPACT Wrestling's Desi Hitman finally got his opponent on top of the table. It was time for the dive. At least Rohit thought it was. Jake quickly got to the apron and stunned Rohit with a punch.

A superplex onto the chairs was blocked. Rohit's powerbomb failed, but he kicked the leg out of Jake, following up with a roundhouse to the head. As Jake found himself on top of the chairs, Rohit hit a diving double stomp. Jake struggled to get to his feet but managed to catch his long-time rival with the Black Hole Slam.

All he had to do was put Rohit through the table. He wasn't done, though. Another Black Hole Slam bounced Rohit hard off the mat. Raju got up and threw a chair at Jake's head, but Jake shrugged it off, spearing him through the table for the win on IMPACT Wrestling.

Results: Jake Something defeated Rohit Raju on IMPACT Wrestling.
