It's been a week since the heinous assault of Rich Swann by Eric Young on IMPACT Wrestling. Swann retired from in-ring competition after Young destroyed his ankle at Slammiversary, reinjuring the former X-Division Champion nine months after his original injury.

The World Class Maniac would face Swann's close friend Willie Mack on IMPACT Wrestling tonight. The show started off with some highlights of Swann's retirement speech, but before we could get to the actual opening of the show, cameras cut to Mack and Young brawling in the back.

As they made it to the ring, Young bailed out to the ramp, stating that their fight would be on his time. Mack refused to let him get away, bringing the former IMPACT World Champion in the ring.

Willie Mack vs Eric Young on IMPACT Wrestling

Mack rocked Young with a wheel kick and took him to the corner for a big forearm smash. Young was tossed to the floor, and failed to get away before Mack dropped onto him with a dive.

Back in the ring, Young moved up top. As Mack chased him, Young bit him and sent him to the mat for a big diving elbow drop. Wasn't enough to put away the former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion.

Young punished Mack with a hanging choke in the corner before breaking at the 4-count. A clothesline took Mack down for the two. Mack woke up, laying out Young with a clothesline and leaping side kick. A leg drop set Young up for the Samoan Drop/Standing Moonsault combination, but Young kicked out.

Mack seemingly lost control when Young raked his eyes, but he was able to catch Young with a Stunner out of nowhere. Instead of going for the pin, though, Mack grabbed a steel chair. He placed it on Young's ankle, but the time taken by Mack allowed Young to get to his feet before Mack could hit the Six-Star Frog Splash.

A bad fall to the mat allowed Young to hit the piledriver for the win.

Results: Eric Young defeated Willie Mack via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B+

After the match, Young called out World Champion Eddie Edwards, stating IMPACT Wrestling is his world. Speaking of Edwards, he would defend the title in an open challenge tonight.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House

After the "makeovers" Taya Valkyrie performed last week, which was basically giving everyone soap and deodorant, Valkyrie brought everyone to the living room to watch "Taya Valkyrie's Greatest Hits." It was apparently voted on by the Wrestle House crew, but Kylie Rae claimed fraud.

Cousin Jake and Susie were noticeably absent from the gathering, with Cody Deaner and Alisha Edwards both claiming they had "the runs." Valkyrie demanded John E. Bravo give her a massage, which aggravated Rosemary. Her former ally Crazzy Steve attempted to both get away from Johnny Swinger and check on the Demon Assassin.

He actually managed to give some decent advice, believing that Rosemary should make Bravo jealous if she wants his attention.

Rhino was attacked by Reno Scum, who were hired by Hernandez to get back his wad of cash. They managed to lay out the War Machine and get away with barely any scratches.

Jordynne Grace vs Kimber Lee on IMPACT Wrestling

The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion came in like a house on fire, easily overpowering Kimber Lee and whipping her back and forth into the turnbuckles. Lee used the official to break things up before laying Jordynne Grace out with a kick to the jaw.

Back from the break, the newest signee of IMPACT Wrestling had Jordynne Grace locked in an inverted reverse figure-four-leglock. Grace refused to submit, breaking out and laying into Lee with clotheslines and elbows.

A rolling spinebuster put Lee down for the two-count. As Lee made it to her feet, a step-up enziguri and German suplex planted IMPACT Wrestling's resident powerhouse, setting Lee up for the Swanton Bomb.

Grace lifted her knees, and managed to lock Lee in the rear naked choke.

Results: Jordynne Grace defeated Kimber Lee via submission on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B

At IMPACT Wrestling Emergence Night 2, Grace will challenge IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Locker Room Talk has returned, with Madison Rayne flying solo this time, as Johnny Swinger is still stuck at Wrestle House. Now sponsored by Heath, it was kickstarted by the #Heath4IMPACT campaign. It was a thirty second ad, but it wasn't enough time for him to get his point across.

Rayne officially kicked off Locker Room Talk with her guests Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes. She wasn't really able to get any questions in, as they ended up making out on the couch, which Rayne said they could keep.

Now the Katie & Rob Show, they attempted to interview one another, but were interrupted by Sami Callihan, who tried to piledrive RVD for ruining his shot at the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship last week. Forbes blinded him with hair spray, and they stomped him out to end the show.

The Rascalz were backstage at IMPACT Wrestling, with Trey wearing the Suicide mask that he "found" in Acey Romero's bag. Moose came in, assuming Trey was Suicide and challenged him to a TNA World Championship match next week.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House

Rosemary was trying to find a man to use to make John E. Bravo jealous. Unfortunately for Larry D, he was the Demon Assassin's best option.

Susie and Cousin Jake started their date, with Jake complimenting Susie's dress and Susie...talking about Jake's chest hair. Good start. Susie continued on, claiming she had the runs. Jake, dumbfounded, silently nodded.

Back in the living room, Larry D was acting strange, prompting Acey Romero to challenge him to a match to knock some sense into him. Tommy Dreamer, thankful for some screen time, came in for his catchphrase, "Match Time!"

Cody Deaner was the ref for the match, and of course couldn't put down his beer. Romero laid out Larry D with a big splash and a running boot to the jaw. Larry avoided a running splash and hit the stomp, following up with the Best Hand in the House for the win. Rosemary looked on with feigned affection while Bravo grew jealous. IMPACT Wrestling may have the strangest love triangle on TV.

Deonna Purrazzo claimed that Jordynne Grace was bitter at losing the championship at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary. The Virtuosa had no problem giving Grace her rematch at Emergence but added a special stipulation.

Purrazzo and Grace will face off in IMPACT Wrestling's first-ever 30-minute Iron Woman Match.

IMPACT Wrestling No DQ Tag Team Match: Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz vs Havok & Nevaeh

Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan hid near the stage to blindside Havok and Nevaeh. Hogan and Nevaeh brawled on the floor as Havok planted Steelz with a swing-out sidewalk slam in the ring.

Steelz was rocked with a big boot in the corner, but a second one was stopped when Hogan distracted her. Steelz launched a steel chair into her face with a superkick, which Hogan followed up with after. Nevaeh entered the ring and took out both competitors with a double clothesline.

Nevaeh launched Steelz around the ring with a series of snap suplexes. A wheelbarrow facebuster planted Steelz, but Havok was sent into the stairs knee first by Hogan, essentially leaving Nevaeh in a two-on-one situation.

Hogan hit Nevaeh with a pipe, and the duo took her down with some tandem offence while they kept Havok on the ground floor.

Nevaeh was left in no-man's land for quite some time, as Hogan kept Havok off the apron. Still, Hogan couldn't pin Nevaeh, and Steelz was unable to keep Havok out the ring.

A kick from Havok caught Hogan in the ropes. Nevaeh followed with a release German suplex. Havok and Nevaeh failed to hit their double piledriver when Steelz broke things up, leading to a two-on-two brawl.

Havok's piledriver was blocked again, but she launched both of her opponents overhead with a double suplex. They dropped the ropes, revealing a table that Havok had apparently set up at some point in the match and almost sending Havok through it.

Havok caught herself, bringing Steelz to the apron with her. Steelz took out Havok with a sleeper, and they put Havok through the table. Nevaeh would fall to Hogan's swinging fisherman neckbreaker. Just like that, they've beaten the most dominant team in IMPACT Wrestling.

Results: Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz defeated Nevaeh & Havok via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B-

The Good Brothers found Scott D'Amore backstage, demanding to know where Ace Austin and Madman Fulton were. When D'Amore couldn't provide an answer, they headed to the IMPACT Wrestling ring to call them out.

Moose was still stomping around backstage when EC3 appeared on a wall through a projector of some kind. EC3 declared that he would destroy Moose, putting the TNA World Champion on edge. Moose may need to keep checking over his shoulder around IMPACT Wrestling.

Suicide vs Dez w/Wentz on IMPACT Wrestling

Dez's fear of Suicide didn't seem to show in this match, as he lit up Suicide with some big strikes. However, their match was interrupted by the Good Brothers, who had a message to send on IMPACT Wrestling.

Results: No contest.

Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson emptied out the ring, laying out Dez, Wentz, and Suicide. The Good Brothers vowed to hold IMPACT Wrestling hostage until Ace Austin and Madman Fulton came out.

Austin and Fulton appeared, alright. Unfortunately for the Good Brothers, it was on the screen. Still, they revealed that they would face Anderson and Gallows soon. In fact, it would be IMPACT Wrestling Emergence Night One.

Rohit Raju came to Chris Bey, claiming that TJP would probably be getting a shot at the X-Division Championship at IMPACT Wrestling Emergence.

His plan? Put him in the match as well, to guarantee a two-on-one advantage. Bey wasn't worried in the slightest about Raju betraying him, and made it official.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House

Cousin Jake put his big country foot in his mouth when he claimed he was terrified of the "old undead Susie." This Susie, however, is the real deal. Su Yung momentarily appeared, scaring Jake off.

Alisha Edwards asked what happened, and was offended when Susie claimed her dating advice was bad. That, of course, led to a match. This time, it was officiated by the honorable Crazzy Steve.

Edwards and Susie were pulled apart almost immediately by Steve, but Susie caught Alisha with a big right hand. They continued to brawl, with Steve having...apparently no idea how to count to ten.

Edwards was rolled up with a schoolboy, giving Susie the win.

Taya Valkyrie tried to bring everyone back inside for another watch along of her greatest moments. Kylie Rae would eventually challenge her to a match, but we wouldn't get that until next week.

IMPACT Wrestling Emergence Night One takes place next week, and there are some great matches set up. Be sure to tune in for what is sure to be an incredible show. Next up, the main event, Eddie Edwards' IMPACT Wrestling World Championship Open Challenge.

Eddie Edwards calls out the World Class Maniac

Eddie Edwards called out Eric Young, demanding he put his money where his mouth is for a shot at the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship. However, Young's music didn't hit. In fact, what we got instead was Brian Myers.

The Most Professional Wrestler accepted the challenge from Edwards. Could he pull off an upset?

IMPACT Wrestling World Championship: Brian Myers vs Eddie Edwards (c)

The Multi-Time Tag Team Champion took Edwards to the corner and unexpectedly got the upper hand. After a clothesline, a snapmare takedown set Edwards up in a side headlock.

Eventually, Edwards shook of Myers and launched him to the floor as we hit the final commercial break of the night. When we returned, however, Myers was back in control. Edwards was launched shoulder first into the ring post, and Myers continued to pile on the pressure.

Myers found himself sent into the barricade where he was met with a suicide dive from the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion. Still, he cut off Edwards again, launching him into the steel.

Back in the ring, a back suplex earned Myers a two-count over the champ. Edwards escaped and suplexed Myers into the turnbuckle. From here, Edwards finally began to build up some steam. Corner elbows, clotheslines, a step up enziguri and the backpack stunner nearly put Myers way.

Myers blocked the tiger driver and hit the Edgecution, getting yet another close call on Mr. IMPACT Wrestling. Myers ran in for the spear, but a superkick stunned him. The tiger driver connected. Still, Myers wouldn't give in.

Edwards set up for the Boston Knee Party, missing the first, but laying Myers out cold on the second attempt.

Results: Eddie Edwards defeated Brian Myers via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.
