The Good Brothers made their debut
The Good Brothers made their debut

The IMPACT Wrestling World Championship is on the line tonight, a little over a week after Eddie Edwards won it at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary. Edwards revealed last week that he'd be defending the belt week in and week out, looking to make it one of the most prestigious championships in the world. Tonight, the champ put it on the line against Trey Miguel of The Rascalz.

At Slammiversary, two tag teams made a huge splash. The Motor City Machine Guns, the new IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions, and the Good Brothers. Tonight, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows made their in-ring debut together as they faced off against Reno Scum.

The Knockouts Champion was also in action tonight, as The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo battled Kimber Lee. All that and more in an incredibly exciting night. We kicked off the show with the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship bout.

Speaking of Eddie Edwards, be sure to check out our own Gary Cassidy interviewing the champ below!

IMPACT Wrestling World Championship: Trey vs Eddie Edwards (c)

Eddie Edwards and Trey wrapped up in a collar and elbow tie-up. Both men jockeyed for position, taking each other to the mat. Trey got the first bit of offense in with a wheelbarrow kneeling facebuster.

A headscissor takedown set Edwards up for a high standing dropkick, but the champ was able to easily kick out. Edwards bounced Trey off the ropes and caught him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Trey looked to catch the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion with a springboard flatliner but was bounced off the mat with a Blue Thunder Bomb instead.

Edwards battered Trey with some heavy shots, but missed a body splash in the corner. Trey tripped him up with a sliding leg trip and followed up with a springboard sunset flip. Edwards rolled through but was caught with Trey's question mark kick/neckbreaker combination. He kicked out just in time.

They traded some big shots here, with Trey getting the better of the champion with a pele kick. Edwards was planted with a low springboard cutter, but again kicked out at two.

Edwards nearly lost the title when Trey reversed a Tiger Driver into a hurricanrana. However, he nearly decapitated Trey with a clothesline, finally hitting the Tiger Driver for the near fall.

Trey was spent at that point, but was able to counter the Boston Knee Party with a pop-up knee strike. Edwards bounced off the ropes, hitting the Boston Knee Party for the win.

Results: Eddie Edwards defeated Trey via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: A+

Edwards didn't have much time to rest, as Eric Young appeared on the ramp after the bout. He was ready for another fight, but Young backed off, saying that he'd confront Edwards on his time.

Sleazy Tommy D is the host of Wrestle House
Sleazy Tommy D is the host of Wrestle House

It's time, ladies and gentlemen. It's Wrestle House! Last week, Rosemary teleported around a dozen of IMPACT Wrestling's stars to a house, much to Taya Valkyrie's dismay. We'd see a handful of segments from Wrestle House play out on IMPACT Wrestling tonight.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House Ep 1

The former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion attempted to leave the house, but Rosemary used her demonic powers to prevent it. As Valkyrie opened the front door, she was greeted by Abyss holding a bag of tacks in what looked to be Hell.

Johnny Swinger remarked that he knew that "mizark really is in purgatory doing the job." Rosemary denied any wrongdoing. The Deaners were hoping they were on Duck Dynasty, but Larry D, sadly, let them down with the news. They should've known, he said, as they all heard the narrator's voice.

That voice belonged to none other than the host Tommy Dreamer, who apparently owned this house. According to Dreamer, he bought it with the ECW checks, which he quickly cashed to make sure they didn't bounce.

Valkyrie was pretty upset, like usual, and demanded to know when they could leave. Rosemary said this is going to last as long as it takes before staring at John E. Bravo.

Guys...I'm worried about Bravo.

XXXL and The Deaners began fighting, but were stopped by Susie, demanding they call a truce because fighting is, of course, bad. One of them said No Way Jose, which Dreamer had to make a point to say IMPACT Wrestling didn't sign.

Johnny Swinger said they should "bow" on it. XXXL and Cody Deaner obliged, but Cousin Jake had to be talked into it by Susie. After some more arguing, Tommy Dreamer revealed that everyone in the house was hand picked to win the grand prize of $1,000,000. As most of the guests celebrated, Rosemary said it wasn't true.

Dreamer also stated that there were six rooms, meaning that it was first come first serve between the twelve contestants. While most of them tried to nab the beds or couches, Acey Romero and Crazzy Steve fought over the ring.

At that point, Dreamer announced that it was "Match Time." When we cut back to Romero and Steve, they were in their gear. With Kylie Rae as the referee, Steve tried to come to an agreement with Romero, believing the ring was big enough for them to share. Of course, that's not how things are settled in IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House.

Romero wasn't a fan of sharing, and tossed Steve from corner to corner. Steve was able to blow up Romero, with the big man running the ropes a bit too long. Steve again tried to call a truce, but was spiked with a Full Nelson Bomb and a rear naked choke.

The first episode of IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House ended with Kylie Rae raising Acey Romero's hand as he won his "bed" for the duration of the show.

Backstage, TJP and Fallah Bahh were harassing Rohit Raju for not following the COVID-19 protocol; masks and the six-feet rule. Raju was there to convince TJP to join the X-Division again, leading to a tag team match on IMPACT Wrestling next week.

It was all a ploy, however, to get Raju a chance to team with Chris Bey against Bahh & TJP.

IMPACT Wrestling interviewer Gia Miller was with Ace Austin and Madman Fulton backstage, who were upset about the Good Brothers trying to embarrass them over the past week. They made sure Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows knew that they were gonna be watching their match with Reno Scum closely tonight.

We got a video package of the Motor City Machine Guns taking out the likes of Beer Money, Team 3-D, and the Young Bucks in their first run with the company. Now that the Guns are the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions, they've proven, once again, that they're the best team in the world.

The North finally addressed their big loss last week. The Guns win the titles and are immediately celebrated by the entire wrestling world. Ethan Page and Josh Alexander, though, were the longest reigning IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions of all time, and no one ever batted an eye. They've got a rematch clause, and they'll hold the gold again. Ethan Page was uh...at a loss for words.

Katie Forbes was with Rob Van Dam in the locker room showing off her photographs, which she planned on showing the world later on tonight.

Deonna Purrazzo dominates again
Deonna Purrazzo dominates again

EC3 went over his incredible run with IMPACT Wrestling years ago but said none of that mattered. His run in "other companies" didn't matter. When he looks into a mirror, he sees the reflection of failure, despite being the greatest wrestler in the world. In order to move forward into the future, he must destroy his past, whatever that means.

Moose was obviously frustrated about what happened last week and managed to get talked into a "title" match with Heath. Scott D'Amore came in and informed Heath that if he could in fact win on IMPACT Wrestling next week, he'd earn himself a contract along with the TNA World Championship.

Kimber Lee vs Deonna Purrazzo on IMPACT Wrestling

Kimber Lee sent Deonna Purrazzo to the floor with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, and caught her with a bicycle boot as she re-entered the ring. Lee Was in full control of the match with the Knockouts Champion, and managed to lock her in a modified full nelson.

Deonna Purrazzo broke out and stomped the elbow of Lee, taking over from there. More punishment to Lee's arm weakened her for the Fujiwara Armbar. Lee's arm was bent back and forth with a variety of arm breakers.

Lee did manage to momentarily turn things around with a tarantula in the corner. An enziguri laid out the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion for a two-count. Purrazzo ducked the roundhouse kick but was taken over with a German suplex for a bridging two-count.

During the match, Madison Rayne stated that, should the Knockouts Tag Team Titles return, she'd like to team with Kimber Lee. Purrazzo tripped Lee up, setting up another nasty armbreaker before finally locking in the Fujiwara Armbar.

Results: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Kimber Lee via submission on IMPACT Wrestling

Grade: B-

Jordynne Grace came down to the ring after the match, her arm in a sling. Purrazzo was caught off guard when Grace took off the sling, revealing that her arm had healed up. Grace lit up the champion before sending her to the floor. Still, she was grasping her arm in pain, showing she wasn't 100%.

Katie Forbes was making her way to the ring when she ran into Sami Callihan, the last man you'd ever want to meet if you've got some kind of website you'd want to promote. Looks like IMPACT Wrestling's hacker has a new target. Definitely some bad news for Katie.

Why would you ever antagonize Sami Callihan?
Why would you ever antagonize Sami Callihan?

Another Bryan Myers vignette aired on IMPACT Wrestling, with Myers going over all the lines you'd hear from veterans in the business. Shake everyone's hand. Trust the process, etcetera.

IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House Ep. 2

Johnny Swinger gave Crazzy Steve a chance to share the room with him. Steve, even more psychotic than usual, took him up on the offer. What is Steve going to do with the Swing Man?

The Deaners were arguing in their room, leading to Cody Deaner making a small comment about Susie. This led to another "Match Time" from Tommy Dreamer. Don't ask why Dreamer was in the bed with Cousin Jake. It's not important.

Alisha Edwards was the ref this time around, with Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake fighting over the rights to the bedroom. Deaner rolled up Jake for a near fall, and poked his cousin in the eyes when he kicked out.

In the corner, Jake was rocked with ten punches, leaving him dazed on the ropes. However, he caught Deaner bouncing off the ropes with a flying hip attack. A big elbow to the jaw almost took Deaner out.

Deaner responded with a punching combination and set up for the Deaner DDT, but was tossed into the air for Jake's swinging sidewalk slam.

With that, it's Cousin Jake's room. Don't feel too bad for Cody, as he ended up in the tour bus. Tune in next week for more IMPACT Wrestling: Wrestle House!

Sami Callihan tried to get an explanation from Ken Shamrock for the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title match, but the Baddest Man on the Planet stormed off. Katie Forbes brought Rob Van Dam in to give Callihan a stern talking to for "creeping" on her. They're really poking the bear here. Got a feeling those pictures won't be shown on IMPACT Wrestling tonight.

If I had to see it, so do you
If I had to see it, so do you

Katie Forbes and Rob Van Dam came out, excited for Katie's big photo debut on IMPACT Wrestling. After the countdown, however, her photos were hacked and photoshopped by Sami Callihan, who placed his head on Forbes' pictures. It uh...I'll be seeing those images in my nightmares for sure.

Dez invited Suicide to the Treehouse, much to the chagrin of Wentz. The three of them smoked each other stupid...well...stupider than usual. Wentz, at first, was terrified of Suicide, but after a while was happy that Suicide was there. In fact, Suicide's dance moves reminded him of someone...Acey Romero! Acey is Suicide!

Rich Swann is interviewed by Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne via satellite. The former X-Division Champion was out for seven months with a leg injury, but Eric Young reinjured him, putting Swann back on the shelf. Next week on IMPACT Wrestling, he'll reveal what his future is regarding in-ring competition.

IMPACT Wrestling Main Event: Reno Scum vs The Good Brothers

Karl Anderson kicked things off with Adam Thornstowe. Anderson took Thornstowe to the corner where the two traded blows. The Big LG tagged in, crushing Thornstowe with vicious rights and lefts.

Doc Gallows followed up with a series of elbow drops for a two-count. Thornstowe was met with a pair of boots from the Good Brothers, with Anderson getting another near fall. Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Ace Austin brought a chair to the stage to get a front row seat to the main event, distracting Anderson long enough for Thornstowe to tag in Luster the Legend.

Luster battered Anderson with punches and headbutts before bringing his partner back into the mix. Anderson barely kicked out of a standing moonsault. Reno Scum continued to tear apart Anderson, all the while forcing Gallows to watch.

Anderson was able to counter an impaler DDT with a rolling spinebuster. Gallows finally tagged in and came in like a house on fire. Some big clotheslines and boots laid out Thornstowe while Luster ate a pump kick.

The Magic Killer connected, putting Reno Scum away and giving the Good Brothers their first win in IMPACT Wrestling.

Results: The Good Brothers defeated Reno Scum via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: B

Luster attempted to attack the two after the match following a distraction from Ace Austin, but was sent to the floor. However, Madman Fulton stepped over the ropes, tossing Anderson to Austin while he brawled with Gallows.

They fought from the ring to the back all the way to the parking lot. Anderson laid out Austin but was hammered with a boot from Fulton. As the big man turned around, the Big LG rocked him with a boot of his own, sending him into the camera man and cutting the IMPACT Wrestling feed.
