IMPACT Wrestling Results: New champions crowned; Moose finds an unlikely ally

IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title Match: Ace Austin & Madman Fulton vs. FinJuice

Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Ace Austin started things off with David Finlay before quickly tagging out to Madman Fulton. Finlay was hesitant but refused to back down from the big man. Juice Robinson opted to tag in, though, hoping to trade blows with Fulton.

Fulton's slam failed when Juice slipped through his grasp, though he did fall to a brick wall-like shoulder block. Juice tagged out to Finlay, and they began working over the arm of their challenger. The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions brought Fulton down with a double bulldog for a two-count.

Ace Austin tagged in, but again FinJuice managed to keep the momentum leaning in their favor with some beautiful tandem offense. Fulton rushed them only to be hit with a pair of dropkicks and a double flapjack. The #1 contenders to IMPACT Wrestling's Tag Team Championship were on their heels on the floor as we hit the final break of the night.

Austin led Juice around ringside into a devastating clothesline from Madman Fulton. Back in the ring, Austin cut the webbing of the fingers with his laminated playing card. Ace kept Juice just far enough away from Finlay to ensure that he couldn't make the tag.

When Juice broke away from Austin, an enzuigiri from Ace almost took some of Finlay's teeth out, sending him to the floor. Ace tagged out and Fulton ran through Juice like a locomotive. Juice did escape the corner of the challengers, getting back to Finlay, who came in like a house on fire.

The IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions picked up the pace as Finlay left Fulton on the floor. Finlay dropped Ace with a uranage backbreaker but couldn't get the win.

Juice tagged in for the inverted atomic drop into the leg sweep/running roundhouse. Fulton made the save and launched Finlay into the ramp. Juice ducked a big boot and lit up the big man with his patented right hands.

Another atomic drop set Fulton up for a death valley driver, but Fulton got off his shoulders and planted the champ. Austin rolled in for the pinfall, but it wasn't enough. Ace and Fulton hit the delayed backdrop/springboard legdrop combination and got a close call on Juice Robinson.

Robinson was left for dead with a chokeslam (Fulton) and avalanche Fold (Austin) combination. Luckily, Finlay made the save, but at that point, he was definitely on his own. Finlay countered a chokeslam from Fulton with a stunner and hit a superplex on Ace Austin.

Finlay launched his partner, who was nearly out on his feet, into Fulton with a cannonball. A backbreaker/elbow drop combo on Ace sent him to the floor. Fultonescaped a Doomsday Device attempt, but Juice saved Finlay from his finish.

A stunner from Finlay and the Unprettier from Juice was enough to put the big man down for the count.

Results: FinJuice defeated Ace Austin and Madman Fulton via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: A+

It was a fantastic match from beginning to end. Unfortunately, FinJuice were unable to celebrate as they were surrounded by former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Eric Young and Violent By Design. Rhino still had the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Trophy, meaning they had a free shot at the titles.

IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Title Match: Violent By Design vs. FinJuice

Joe Doering ran through FinJuice with a double crossbody. Rhino hit a Gore on Juice Robinson, and Doering finished the statement with a decapitating short-armed lariat.

Results: Violent By Design defeated FinJuice via pinfall on IMPACT Wrestling.

Grade: C
