Jey Uso defeated Braun Strowman, Pete Dunne, and Ilja Dragunov in a Fatal 4-Way match on WWE RAW's season premiere to become the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. The former Bloodline member has quickly become one of the top babyfaces in the company, and fans are eagerly waiting to witness him secure his first singles championship.
When Jey Uso picks up his first singles title, it needs to be on a major platform. Ideally, fans expect the Stamford-based promotion to book Main Event Jey vs. Bron Breakker at WWE Bad Blood. Unfortunately, that might not be the case anymore.
Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Radio reported that the wrestling juggernaut will not add the match for the upcoming premium live event but instead book it for one of the upcoming RAWs. Furthermore, if WWE follows a five-match approach for Bad Blood, the red show's superstars have already secured three spots on the match card. The remaining two are most likely reserved for SmackDown.
Jey Uso can still be a part of Bad Blood despite not having a match
The former Bloodline member seems to have aligned himself with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest on Monday Night RAW. First, he teamed with Damian Priest and defeated The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Second, he ran out to the ring with a steel chair on the latest episode to save The Terror Twins from the heel faction.
WWE Bad Blood has both The Eradicator and The Archer of Infamy in important matches. Main Event Jey can be ringside during both matches with Ripley or Priest and ensure the other Judgment Day members do not interfere.
If Ripley defeats Morgan with Jey Uso protecting her from others, WWE might move their on-screen romance forward and give the fans a brief yet exciting storyline.
