The return of Jimmy Uso has been highly anticipated by the WWE Universe for a long time. Fans had hoped that when Roman Reigns made his return at SummerSlam, Jimmy might come back to aid him, but that didn’t happen. In fact, the Original Tribal Chief was destroyed by The Bloodline just a few weeks ago.
While there’s no official update on Jimmy Uso's return, it’s possible that he could re-emerge alongside Lance Anoa’i to assist Roman Reigns in this ongoing battle.
For those unaware, Lance Anoa’i made his WWE debut on May 27, 2019, on an episode of Monday Night RAW. At the time, Roman Reigns, portraying the Big Dog in a babyface role, rescued Lance from a beatdown by Drew McIntyre.
This means that Roman and Lance already have a history together on-screen. Also, personally, Lance is part of the Samoan Dynasty, making his involvement in The Bloodline saga a logical step. If Jimmy Uso returns to SmackDown with Lance by his side, WWE could later incorporate Lance into the potential Bloodline Civil War, where he would aid the Original Tribal Chief.
This would complete a full-circle moment, as Roman once saved Lance from a beatdown. Meanwhile, now Lance would return to help Roman in his biggest fight yet against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.
Currently, Lance Anoa’i is working with independent promotions. However, with the recent influx of stars like Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, his entry into WWE seems increasingly possible.
Who else could Jimmy Uso bring upon his anticipated return?
Besides Lance Anoa’i, another name who could potentially return alongside Jimmy Uso is Paul Heyman. The Wise Man has been absent from WWE for months, ever since being taken out by Solo Sikoa and the revamped Bloodline. Even when Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam, he did so without Heyman by his side, and they have yet to reunite on SmackDown.
However, it’s possible that Jimmy Uso could facilitate the reunion between Roman and Heyman. This could occur when the Special Counsel returns alongside the Samoan Twin. Later, as Paul and Jimmy seek revenge against the new version of The Bloodline, they might align with the Original Tribal Chief.
This would lead to the long-awaited reunion of Heyman and Reigns, and the revival of the OG Bloodline.
It will be fascinating to see how the Bloodline saga unfolds in the coming months. Currently, Roman, Jimmy, and Heyman are all absent from television, but their eventual return would undoubtedly generate a massive reaction from the WWE Universe.
