While Jon Moxley is enjoying his time in AEW, he still gets asked questions about his time at WWE. Some of those questions are related to his Shield brethren, and whether he still talks to them.
Chris Van Vliet brought up the question during his interview with Moxley, which talked about AEW, his future, the Chris Jericho interview and more.
While Moxley doesn't actually talk all that much with his former stable mates, he still texts Roman Reigns every now and again. He said (H/T Fightful):
"You get in the bubble. You're busy. I mean, not really. Not so much. A little bit. You know, text Roman a little bit here and there. But he's super busy. I mean, they're so busy in the bubble and stuff, you know, and I'm busy, too."
While Moxley is certainly a busy man, it does seem significant that he still texts Roman Reigns.
Moxley had previously said that the Reigns Cancer promo was something he truly detested, and in a way gave him more reason to leave WWE and wrestle in places like AEW and NJPW. His fans would be heartened to know that the bond he shared with Reigns has been maintained even after his departure from the company.
Moxley is set to take on Joey Janela at AEW Dynamite this week. After that, it's likely that he will feud with Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship.
