By Survivor Series, McIntyre would have enough time to build momentum on his WWE Championship chase. If he loses the title at SummerSlam, this could occur due to interference or distraction from another heel, in order to create a detour for McIntyre to get him away from the title picture and build more stream as a babyface.

Since WWE Creative has proverbially fed him names since WrestleMania such as Andrade, Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, and Seth Rollins, revisiting these feuds would not help him build much steam. Ideally, Randy Orton would be a good name to have an extended feud with McIntyre to take him away from the title picture.

Since Orton is one of the most menacing heels currently on Raw, he should be the person used to held build momentum as a babyface. This momentum could lead to McIntyre have a fresh wind as a babyface heading into Survivor Series.

At Survivor Series, McIntyre defeats Lashley, after Lashley spends three months as a dominant WWE Champion. As aforementioned, this would finally give McIntyre the ovation that he deserves, with the expectation of a larger crowd being in the arenas by November.
