The Men's Ladder Match at this year's WWE Money in the Bank turned out to be one of the most chaotic in recent times. While the action throughout the bout was incredible, thanks to the intense action from the participants, things started to get much more interesting when Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins called out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Both men turned the bout on its head with the ensuing carnage before Solo Sikoa’s stablemates Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo made their way out to the ring. After all the chaos ended, Seth Rollins and LA Knight turned out to be the final two members fighting for the MITB contract.
During the final moments of the match, Rollins stomped Knight to grab the briefcase and win the Men's Ladder Match. This marked Knight’s third straight loss in such clashes, which would undoubtedly be frustrating for The Megastar. After his past experiences, he was confident going into his third such match, but that too ended in defeat. An upset and frustrated Knight could announce that he is quitting WWE due to his such bookings.
Knight has been working week in and week out and could take some time off television, meanwhile, fans would start speculating about his future and whether he had really made an exit from the company. The star could then make a massive return, possibly on RAW, and directly target Rollins and his faction for what they did at Money in the Bank.
This could also give WWE some time to frame out a massive storyline for Knight following his return, possibly going for a World Championship sometime in the future. With Seth Rollins as the new Mr. Money in the Bank, a potential successful cash-in to win a World Title would turn out to be the perfect story for Knight to return to take revenge on Rollins and potentially win his first World Championship in the company.
It must be noted that while the above able could play out, for now it is just speculation and only time will tell what Knight chooses to do.
Will LA Knight go back to the WWE United States Championship picture?
After losing a brutal Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, despite being inches close to winning it, LA Knight now has to figure out what he wants in the next few weeks.
The star has been the United States Champion twice in the past and has been quite adamant on winning it again over the past few weeks, before qualifying for the Money in the Bank.
If Knight doesn’t take time off TV, he could go back to the United States Title picture and potentially get involved in the feud between Jacob Fatu, Damian Priest, and now Solo Sikoa as well.
With a number of opportunities open for Knight, it is all upon him to choose his next path following the loss at WWE Money in the Bank. Time will now tell what the company has in store for The Megastar next.
