Liv Morgan to replace Raquel Rodriguez as her tag team partner with 9-time WWE champion? Potential return explored

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez reunited in WWE at Bad Blood and have exerted dominance over the women's division ever since. However, that might change at Survivor Series, which will then be followed by a return many fans are waiting.

At Bad Blood 2024, Raquel Rodriguez returned after months of absence to help Liv Morgan against Rhea Ripley. On this week's RAW, both women attempted to win the Women's Tag Team Championship from Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, but failed. This was followed by a brawl with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton helping The Judgment Day duo, but the champions also received help from IYO SKY and Naomi. Interestingly, one star who can get involved in the aftermath is Alexa Bliss.

From the looks of it, Liv and Raquel will team up with Nia and Tiffany against Naomi, IYO, Bianca, and Jade for Survivor Series: WarGames. During the match, Rodriguez might be the reason for their team's downfall. This can result in Morgan getting mad at her and demoting her to simply being a bodyguard, replacing her with the three-time RAW Women's Champion.

The three-time Women's Tag Team Champion and Liv had a short stint as a tag team in 2022, defeating Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. to earn a spot at that year's Money in the Bank Ladder match. Although it was the only time they became a duo, they had good chemistry and worked well together.

The two-time SmackDown Women's Champion teaming up with Morgan will be a new look for her as she hasn't been part of a large stable before. It might even lead to a stand-off between The Judgment Day and The Wyatt Sicks due to Alexa's history with Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy.

The current Women's World Champion has seen her fair share of tag team partners throughout the years, the former 24/7 Champion is just among them. However, the RAW star considers Raquel her favorite partner by far.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Liv Morgan praised her tag team partner's qualities and even stated that the latter can offer things the former can't. The champion added that Raquel Rodriguez is her greatest partner.

"Raquel [Rodriguez] is the most trustworthy. Raquel has never stabbed me in the back. Raquel is stronger than me. Raquel is bigger than me. Raquel is more powerful than me. Raquel can offer things that I cannot and vice versa. I think she’s my greatest tag-team partner of all time. We’ve had the most success as tag-team partners. We are two-time women’s tag-team champions."

It will be interesting to see what is next in the future of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
