The biggest event of the summer, ‘SummerSlam’ sure has some surprises in store for us. But the biggest of them all being that Daniel Bryan is the number one contender for the WWE title and he will headline the event along with the champion John Cena.
Cena was asked to pick any opponent of his choice to face him at SummerSlam by the new RAW manager Brad Maddox. Cena asked the crowd for their help and all he got was loud ‘Yes’ chants from the WWE universe. Cena, without any hesitation, picked Daniel Bryan, much to everyone’s delight.
Bryan was expected to win the MITB ladder match as there were rumours doing the rounds that he is going to be given a massive push by the WWE. A main event at SummerSlam is as major a push as one can get.
