Matt Hardy gives an amusing reason behind his absence from this week's episode of WWE RAW

WWE Superstar Matt Hardy recently took to Twitter to reply to a fan who posted last week about him trending at #3 worldwide on Twitter after he made his return to WWE on the November 25 episode of Monday Night RAW. The fan added that Matt "woke and broke the internet."

Hardy did not appear on this week's RAW and replied on the aforementioned fan's tweet by giving the reason behind his absence. Hardy wrote that trending at #3 was unfortunately not enough to get him booked for this week's RAW episode. However, The Woken One added that he is staying ready and believes that his phone could ring at any time and attached a video of himself doing jumping-jacks on a trampoline.

What's next for Matt Hardy?

Matt Hardy returned on last week's episode of the Red brand and faced Buddy Murphy. Hardy looked good during the first half of the match but Murphy took advantage of his opponent's ring rust to put him away.

Hardy was last seen holding the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with his younger brother Jeff Hardy earlier this year as a part of The Hardy Boyz but had to vacate the titles after Jeff was forced to undergo surgery. Since then, Big Brother Hardy rarely appeared on WWE television and after his return last week, it remains to be seen if he will go back to being a singles wrestler or reform The Hardy Boyz when Jeff Hardy returns.
