Bits from Monday Night Raw

The WrestleMania 35 go-home episode of Raw proved to be quite exciting as the fans got a taste as to what might happen at the grandest stage of them all. The last Raw before the Mania came in with a lot of expectations as the fans looked for some clarity, some spark and most importantly some answers as the world waits for Wrestlemania 35 which is set to take place at MetLife Arena in New Jersey.

The episode was blessed with exciting revelations, pulsating action and some pretty entertaining promos. From a high-octane title match to the headliners getting arrested, Raw had a devastating impact.

Here, we talk about 5 things that WWE secretly told us:

#5 Drew Mcintyre might prove to be too much for 'Not Yet Ready' Roman Reigns

Drew Mcintyre has been impressing on a weekly basis and looks set to make 2019 his own. The Scottish Psychopath has successfully established himself as the top heel on Monday Night Raw as he looks to dismantle the believed Babyfaces!

The latest addition to Drew's hitlist is Roman Reigns. Mcintrye has been feuding with The Shield for quite some time now and WrestleMania 35 is the place where he faces the big dog in a singles bout.

While Roman's comeback was immensely lauded, WWE have portrayed Drew as the dominant one in this feud and there are some who have labelled Roman as 'Not Yet Ready'!

The Scottish Psychopath has been vicious on Raw and Roman will find it hard to disagree. The big dog has faced the wrath of Drew on one too many occasions now and it seems like the scenes might be same come April 7 at MetLife Arena.

Drew has been utterly dominant in this feud as he has put down Roman for the past few weeks and his display of brutality and aggression do suggest that WWE plans to keep Mcintyre hot post Mania by making him prevail over the big dog.

A dominant Drew defeating a 'Not Yet Ready' Roman sounds convincing and seems like the plan for the Showcase of Immortals.

#4 The Raw Tag team Division is on the decline

The tag team division on Raw has been disappointing for quite some time now. The tag titles are often put on the line on the weekly episodes and the craze at PPVs isn't there anymore.

Look at it this way- The Raw Tag Team Champions, The Revival still have no confirmed opponents for WrestleMania 35. The top prize on raw when it comes to tag team division might not be on the line at the showcase of immortals.

The decline has been quite evident for a few weeks now and the latest recruitments from NXT have been made in order to enhance the division. Men like Ricochet and Aleister Black have been impressive on Raw as the unlikely pairing has been terrific in the ring.

Black and Ricochet will feel a bit unlucky at the moment owing to their closely fought title match with The Revival as the NXT duo was on the verge of becoming the New Champions.

#3 Seth Rollins will be the saviour of the WWE Universe

WWE Universe got their wish fulfilled as they finally got to see Brock Lesnar stand face-to-face with Seth Rollins as they prepare for a gigantic clash at WrestleMania 35.

Lack of physical confrontations has somehow taken the heat away from this one and the fans have been quite vocal in expressing their displeasure in how this feud has unfolded.

Lesnar has held the company hostage for quite some time now and the WWE enthusiasts have literally gone tired of watching Brock Lesnar treat the company like that.

Seth was excellent on the mic as he clearly spoke on the behalf of WWE Universe and the fans do feel it with the architect. The storyline has depicted Seth as the underdog in this one who will find it pretty strenuous to get past Brock Lesnar.

With that being said, The WWE Universe will rely their hopes on Rollins' shoulders as he looks to dismantle the beast incarnate at the showcase of immortals.

#2 An Evolution reunion seems unlikely!

Evolution is one of the greatest factions of all time
Evolution is one of the greatest factions of all time

Things haven't been pretty in the Evolution group. Ever since the animal returned on the occasion of Ric Flair's birthday celebrations on Raw a few weeks back, the mood has been kind off infuriating.

Batista is probably the most hated WWE Superstar right now considering the fact that he attacked Ric Flair in a vicious manner to ring alarms for one man and that is 'The Game' Triple H.

Triple H and Batista are set to battle each other at WrestleMania 35 in what might be the last chapter in their storybook. The stakes are immensely high as Triple H's career is on the line as he faces the animal in a No Holds Barred match.

Both former allies have taken personal shots against one another but there was still a hint of a possible Evolution moment post their colossal clash simply because the company is known to deliver such iconic segments at Mania.

But all those hazy images seem to have disappeared following Batista's appearance on Raw as the animal showed no respect for Triple H and looks all set to end the career of his former mentor.

#1 A title unification is all but confirmed

It's no secret that WWE is going all in to make the Triple Threat match for the Raw Women's Championship a clash to remember for ages. The match is set to be the first ever all-women main event at WrestleMania as the company looks to make history come April 7.

Stephanie Mcmahon appeared on the last Raw before WrestleMania and made the match even bigger by stating that the main event will now be a 'Winner takes it all' match.

What was earlier going to be contested just for the Raw Women's Championship will now have the SmackDown Women's title on the line as well courtesy of Charlotte Flair being crowned the new champion last week on SmackDown Live.

Ardent WWE fans very well know as to what might be in store here as the history suggests that the company is planning to unify the titles in near future and this looks the perfect opportunity to initiate the process.
