A 35-year-old superstar made his entry into the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match, but it was noticed by some that his hand was taped up, implying that there is a potential injury there.
The Men's MITB field was stacked this time around, with Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, El Grande Americano, Andrade, and Seth Rollins all vying for the same briefcase. It was a competitive match even before things began.
The superstar who walked in with his hand taped was Andrade, the former United States Champion. He walked into Money in the Bank with white tape wrapped only around his left hand, insinuating a possible injury.
It's also possible that he suffered a very minor injury recently, and this is simply a safety precaution. If it was bad enough, the odds of him actually competing in an intense ladder match would have been low. It also could have been a relatively last-minute thing, as any small freak injury can take place.
That didn't stop El Idolo from going all out in the Money in the Bank ladder match. He even took a Mexican destroyer from Penta on a ladder.
Unfortunately, the former AEW star wasn't able to win the MITB briefcase.
