Kayla Braxton has shared a heartfelt message with Xia Li upon her departure from WWE.

Xia Li has been released by WWE after a seven-year stint with the company. While her last notable run involved a feud with Becky Lynch last year, her sporadic appearance in recent years made her departure somewhat expected.

Kayla Braxton recently took to X social media platform to share a heartfelt message with Xia Li. She described her as one of the most genuinely kind people she's ever met. Braxton said she would miss Xia and expressed her excitement to see what's next for her.

The 35-year-old responded to her friend with a grateful thank you.

"One of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever met. Will miss you, @Xia! Can’t wait to see what you do next 💙," Kayla Braxton wrote.

Several other stars were released by WWE alongside Xia Li

It was a tough day in the world of professional wrestling as several wrestlers were released by the Stamford-based company this past week.

The Indus Sher duo of Veer Mahaan and Sanga, Xyon Quinn, and Xia Li were among the names released by the Stamford-based company. Despite their talent, they had been sporadically used in programming over the past few years.

The biggest shock among the fanbase came with the release of Jinder Mahal. The Modern Day Maharaja had succeeded during his tenure with the company, despite being somewhat under the radar in recent years.

However, the start of 2024 appeared on a high note for the former WWE Champion. He was involved in segments with The Rock and Seth Rollins and even faced The Visionary for the World Heavyweight Championship during an episode of RAW.
