A WWE Superstar that is on hiatus has been listed as a potential challenger for Rhea Ripley by the USA Network.
Ripley captured the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39 by defeating Charlotte Flair. Despite being the champion of the Friday night show, Rhea and The Judgment Day have been drafted to the red brand, while RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair was selected by SmackDown.
One of the superstars that Bianca Belair defeated during her reign as RAW Women's Champion was Alexa Bliss. The EST soundly defeated Alexa at this year's Royal Rumble and Bliss hasn't been seen on WWE television since.
Alexa Bliss, Big E, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and more superstars were not eligible for this year's draft. However, USA Network sent out a tweet ahead of tonight's RAW that featured a graphic of potential opponents for Ripley on the red brand. Alexa Bliss was listed as one of these superstars.
Rhea Ripley claims WWE RAW star is in love with her
Rhea Ripley recently claimed that a member of The Judgment Day has fallen in love with her.
The Eradicator's relationship with Dominik Mysterio has captivated the WWE Universe for months. Dominik now refers to Ripley as his "Mami" and has become one of the company's biggest heels since he aligned with The Judgment Day. Dominik battled his father, Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, at WrestleMania 39 but came up short after Bad Bunny interfered in the match.
In a recent interview with PWI, Ripley discussed her bond with Dominik and joked that the 26-year-old has fallen in love with her.
"It’s been a wild ride! Starting from me beating up Dom, with Rey, choking him out with my legs, him just falling in love with me," said Ripley.
Rhea defeated Zelina Vega to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship at WWE Backlash. It would be interesting to see how Alexa would fare against The Eradicator if she were to challenge for the title down the line.
