WrestleMania 35 will always be remembered for hosting Kurt Angle's final match against Baron Corbin. The winner of the contest recently opened up on how he'd react if the Olympic gold medalist chose to come out of retirement.

In the storyline, Baron Corbin can boast about ending Kurt Angle's career despite the fact that they only wrestled for six minutes before the former US Champion defeated the WWE Hall of Famer.

As far as retirement matches are concerned, returning to the ring for talent is sometimes considered disrespectful to the opponent of their last bout. However, in Kurt Angle's case, Baron Corbin would have no issues seeing the legendary superstar back in action.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, the 39-year-old star revealed that he often gets asked whether he'd be annoyed if Kurt Angle wrestled again. A candid Baron Corbin, who wasn't portraying his usually annoying heel persona, admitted he loves Angle and would not be angry if The Wrestling Machine competed again.

"People even ask me, like, if he came back for one more match. Would you be mad? No, he's one of the greatest of all time. Like, did we make something of me retiring him? You know? Yeah, it's awesome. It's something I'll have on my belt forever. But, like, I would love to see Kurt compete again, like just one of those things I was listening to him on Rogan's podcast today. And I'm like, I love that guy. Like he's just so good," he said. [H/T Insight]

Baron Corbin sees Kurt Angle as a perfect role model and is glad to have wrestled in his retirement match

Kurt Angle might have undergone many surgeries in recent times, but he still might not be in the shape to wrestle a full-fledged match. Baron Corbin was grateful to have been Kurt Angle's last opponent as he admired the former WWE Champion and his inspiring journey.

Corbin put Angle over as a great wrestler, father, husband and human being, and said that he will never forget the memorable WrestleMania 35 evening:

"The things he's done and fought through and accomplished and changed his life around to, like, you know, be a better father, husband, wrestler, everything, competitor. And I mean, that was a huge moment. That's something I will have forever. I have a six-foot poster of it in my house it like because it was just such a cool thing."
