The Bloodline story has featured some massive twists and turns, and some massive names have been involved in some way over the years. Throughout the storyline, one name who has managed to elevate his career to a whole new level is Jey Uso.
Starting out as the 'Right Hand Man' to Roman Reigns and then going on to become the first man to pin The Tribal Chief in years, Jey Uso turned out to be a breakout singles star over the years. The former Tag Team Champion went on to face Roman Reigns for the World Championship and was close to winning the title before Jimmy Uso surprised the world with his betrayal.
In a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio's Holiday Party, Bully Ray addressed the spike in Jey Uso's popularity and how the star turned into one of the biggest singles stars of the industry after breaking out from the tag team. Not only that, but the Hall of Famer also felt that Jey had somehow surpassed Cody Rhodes in terms of popularity in the industry.
"The most popular wrestler of the year. I gotta tell you—I could see how people would give the edge to Cody, but there's something going on with Jey Uso. Something very unique. As a tag team guy, I can appreciate what Jey is able to do—breaking out of a team, breaking out of the Usos, and becoming as popular as he has become...I don't know of anybody who has broken out of a tag team and caught on so quick as Jey Uso," said the Hall of Famer. What's next for Jey Uso after The OG Bloodline's victory at Survivor Series?
After a massive WarGames victory for the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series, Jey Uso was spotted separating Seth Rollins and CM Punk along with Sami Zayn a couple of weeks ago on RAW.
Further, the former Tag Team Champion was seen bruised up after an ambush backstage, which left him off TV last week. The attacker has been a mystery until now, as it still has not been officially confirmed that it was McIntyre. Jey's next singles feud might be on the horizon. Fans will have to wait and see who attacked the OG Bloodline member on RAW.
