John Cena and CM Punk are set to clash for one final time at the WWE Night of Champions Premium Live Event. Recently, analyst Peter Rosenberg shared his prediction for the outcome of the encounter, revealing a surprising turn of events.

Following Money in the Bank, The Franchise Player made an appearance on RAW, delivering a powerful promo that further solidified his heel character. He was interrupted by The Second City Saint during his segment, leading to a heated verbal exchange between the two. As officially announced by the company, the rivals are set to collide for the Undisputed WWE Title at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg claimed that R-Truth, aka Ron Killings, could cost CM Punk the match by directly assaulting him. The analyst believed that this intervention would result in a disqualification and position the RAW star to challenge his "childhood hero" for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

"I wouldn't hate R-Truth in the main event [CM Punk vs. John Cena] at Night of Champions, taking out CM Punk and getting the DQ, and then you just see him staring down like, 'Nah, this is mine. I'm getting this title,'" Rosenberg said. [From 52:12 to 52:26]

Peter Rosenberg says R-Truth could defeat John Cena for the WWE Championship

At Saturday Night's Main Event last month, John Cena and R-Truth faced each other in a non-title singles bout. The Cenation Leader ultimately emerged victorious over his opponent.

In the same video, Peter Rosenberg stated that Ron Killings deserves a run with the WWE Championship and that he could be the one to finally dethrone the 48-year-old legend.

"R-Truth getting a run with the title, even at this age, would work. It would be awesome, and I see a bunch of people now saying that now that we are seeing how organic this is, now that we are seeing the stats, which are saying his segment got more views than [John] Cena and [CM] Punk. 'Yo, maybe he is the guy to dethrone John Cena.' I am not saying he is, but I am not saying he is not," he said.

It will be interesting to see if the former United States Champion does cost CM Punk the world title against John Cena later this month.
