It was a massive night for Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank 2025. He pinned WWE Champion John Cena, achieving a measure of revenge from WrestleMania 41. After MITB went off the air, he hyped up a huge upcoming match.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated the duo of John Cena and Logan Paul at Money in the Bank tonight. While some expected Travis Scott to appear, it was actually another rapper who made the difference. In a surprising moment, Ron Killings, aka R-Truth, made his return to WWE and attacked Cena, costing him the match and allowing Rhodes to secure the pin.
After MITB went off the air, Cody Rhodes thanked the crowd in what was his first match in 49 days. He also hyped Jey Uso's upcoming title defense against Gunther on RAW two nights later, on June 9.
As you probably know, Jey Uso has a huge title defense on RAW against his WrestleMania 41 opponent, Gunther. The Ring General has been patiently waiting for his title rematch, and he's finally going to get it on the same night that the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments kick off.
As for The American Nightmare, it's likely that he will go straight for the gold again, setting the stage for a rematch against John Cena in the near future.
