A current champion in WWE has made a hilarious claim ahead of the beginning of this year's draft. The WWE Draft will begin tonight at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became champions during the 6-Pack Challenge Ladder match at WrestleMania XL earlier this month. The duo were recently presented with the WWE Tag Team Championships on SmackDown and are ineligible to be drafted by RAW.

Ahead of SmackDown, Grayson Waller took to social media to hilariously make up a false report from the Wrestling Observer. Waller joked that Netflix was incredibly disappointed that they could not draft the champions and believed the team is the future of the industry:

"Ahead of tonight's WWE Draft, Netflix executives are said to be disappointed that champions A Town Down Under will be eligible to make the switch to Monday nights. Sources say Netflix see the talented and handsome duo as the future of the entertainment industry, - WON," he wrote.

Swerve Strickland fires back at WWE star Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller recently poked fun at All Elite Wrestling by claiming that some good wrestling would finally be returning to Jacksonville for the May 17 episode of SmackDown.

AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland responded to the Australian star's comments during his appearance on Going Ringside. Strickland didn't name Waller but congratulated the 34-year-old on becoming champion. However, Strickland claimed that AEW has the best wrestling in the business.

"Obviously [it was a shot at All Elite Wrestling], and I love the subtleties, This person that said that... congratulations on their championship gold, amazing. You were awesome when you were watching me in the seats when I was becoming a champion over where you were as well. Happy to see where you progressed to, but lets be real... We [AEW] are the best wrestling. Not just in Jacksonville, but anywhere... on the globe. In the world, and I stand on business on that," he said. [From 11:40 - 12:10'
