What’s next?

Drew McIntyre has made it clear that he has his eyes set on the NXT Championship. With rumours of Shinsuke moving to the main roster gaining steam, Drew’s addition to NXT makes perfect sense.

We can expect Drew McIntyre to debut on NXT in the following week.

Author’s Take

As a rule, several of the NXT Superstars make their main roster debut on the night after WrestleMania.

With names like Nakamura, Asuka and Revival on the run for this year's debut, there was a huge concern regarding the state of NXT. With Drew's addition, the drawing power of NXT might not be severely hampered when the top stars of NXT make their main roster debuts.
