WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has finally revealed the truth behind his controversial walkout from the Royal Rumble 2025. He was a participant in the multi-man bout held in Indianapolis.

On February 1, The Scottish Warrior entered at number 17 in the Men's Royal Rumble Match. The star got eliminated at the hands of Damian Priest and was reportedly seen screaming and cursing backstage before exiting the Lucas Oil Stadium in anger.

During an interview with Gorilla Position, Drew McIntyre revealed that he was unhappy following his elimination from the 30-man contest, admitting he invented swear words before departing the arena. He clarified that he left the building due to professionalism and an understanding of his volatile temper.

"I will tell you that I was not happy. I didn't swear in general, but I invented a few swear words, and then I left the building... I left the building because I'm a professional," McIntyre said.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion added:

"I'd rather take myself out of the situation because I know how bad my temper is, and sometimes, when you calm down, things are not as they seem. So I've learned to just walk away. That's the adult thing to do." (From 08:52 to 09:50)

Drew McIntyre gave an update on his WWE future

The Scottish Psychopath's last in-ring encounter was at Saturday Night's Main Event. He lost to Damian Priest in a brutal Steel Cage Match and was written off television for a while.

In the same interview, Drew McIntyre disclosed that he's been exploring hobbies beyond the wrestling ring, understanding that his time in the sport will eventually come to an end.

"I need to get some hobbies. My wife's always on me, but apparently I can't wrestle forever, as much as I might try. So, I need to figure out what's the next step. She's always talking about business ventures and the like, and I was like, I did the one thing that I always wanted to do my entire life; I don't want to do another job. So, I figure I need a bunch of hobbies," he said.
