Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently shared his thoughts about former NXT Champion Bron Breakker's rumored move to the main roster.

Breakker lost the NXT Championship to Dolph Ziggler this past week in a triple-threat match that also included Tommaso Ciampa. Later, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE was planning to move Breakker up to the main roster.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell addressed some of the reports that said WWE was looking to move Breakker to the main roster. The wrestling veteran suggested that the company had moved superstars too quickly in the past as well only to have their momentum eventually fizzle out. Dutch Mantell said:

"It's almost like a kiss of death. He's being fast-tracked to make it? How many times have to seen them fast track to get a guy over there and then he gets over there and just sits there, does nothing. Just because they're going over there doesn't mean they're going to be a success. They could get over there and just bomb, just flatten out. You've got to do the right thing with them. Bron Breakker, I hate the name. I would call him Von. But I think he could be a star there. That's the bloodline. Let him go and do the stuff." [from 54:24 onwards]
