The Bloodline hasn’t recruited any female WWE Superstars over the years. However, an ex-member recently made a bold statement regarding the state of the women’s division.
Paul Heyman has worked in the wrestling industry for nearly four decades. The Wiseman has worked well with Roman Reigns for several years and spoke to Bloomberg Live about the current women’s division in the Triple H-led company.
Heyman boldly declared that the current women’s roster was the greatest in the industry's history. He backed up his claim by comparing it to how the Williams sisters took over the Tennis court.
"We have, in WWE right now, what is the equivalent to when the Williams sisters [Venus and Serena] came onto the tennis court. We have the greatest female roster in the history of this industry. And they're not just there for sex and appeal; they are there because the women in WWE right now, number one, are the best," Heyman said.
The ex-Bloodline member continued that even Ronda Rousey came to the Stamford-based promotion to showcase what she could in the wrestling ring. That shows the quality of the company’s women’s division over the years.
"Ronda Rousey came to WWE to display her athletic skills, and while doing it, she got a chance to also display her own persona as a character. But when Ronda Rousey, who is to MMA what the Williams sisters were to tennis, comes to WWE to do that, it speaks volumes of what we're doing. The women here are not only magnificent athletes. They have acting chops as well." [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
Ronda Rousey was heavily featured in the company throughout her two stints with it. In the wrestling ring, she won four titles and became a top superstar.
WWE could see the return of the original Bloodline
The Bloodline has changed the game thanks to Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns, and The Usos. Fans are witnessing a new version run by Solo Sikoa on the SmackDown brand.
Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline hasn’t been as successful as the one that Roman Reigns led. Fans could see The Original Tribal Chief reunite the old members to take on Sikoa’s recruits.
It would be great to see Roman Reigns return with Paul Heyman and then slowly recruit The Usos and Sami Zayn to take back what is rightfully theirs. The battle between the two sides would certainly interest fans.
