Former WWE Head Writer Vince Russo believes Triple H and Stephanie McMahon might not have been entirely faithful in their marriage.
The Game and The Billion Dollar Princess' relationship started while they worked together on a storyline in late 1999 and early 2000. After dating for nearly three years, the couple tied the knot in 2003. The current WWE Chief Content Officer and the former Chairwoman have three daughters.
Russo recently addressed Triple H and Stephanie's relationship on his The Brand podcast, stating that he believes inf*delity happened on both sides:
"I believe there was some inf*delity in the Triple H/Stephanie McMahon marriage, which may have had something to do with the heart attack story. I believe there was some inf*delity. I have no proof of that, bro. It is purely speculation. However, Stephanie McMahon was walking around without a wedding ring for a long period of time while Triple H was wearing his. So, I believe there may have been some inf*delity. And bro, quite frankly, there might have been some infidelity on both sides," he said. [6:52 - 7:43]
Triple H was happy with Stephanie McMahon's recent WWE return
Stephanie McMahon resigned from the Stamford-based company in January 2023. However, the 47-year-old returned after nearly a year of absence to attend the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. She also kicked off the second night of WrestleMania XL.
Triple H addressed his wife's comeback at the WrestleMania XL press conference, expressing his happiness to see her overcome her doubts and lack of confidence:
"Godda*n, my wife looked good, right? She hasn't lost a step. Can't even tell you what I'm thinking right now [laughs]. So great to have her back home, right? I get her home all the time but like to have her back here, to see the doubt leave her by being here for the last few days, to see her confidence come back, and to know that this is her home. All of you, all of us, all of this business—it's her home. And as much as anybody on the planet, she belongs here, and, hopefully, she knows that now. So happy to have her back," he said.
The Game also posted a photo of him hugging The Billion Dollar Princess backstage after her appearance at this year's Show of Shows. He captioned it with one word, "forever," seemingly referring to their relationship.
