TKO's recent budget cuts forced some people to weigh their options in WWE. R-Truth is an exception since the controversy surrounding his departure turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and he was brought back within days.
However, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and current NXT commentator Booker T has since been vocal about potentially getting released from the Stamford-based promotion in the future.
During the most recent edition of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said he wants TKO to give him a heads-up before potentially letting him go in the future.
"When the TKO people came in, Endeavor and all those guys, this was my first thought process. These guys may not know me from Adam, okay, so let me be proactive and get ahead of this thing because I could be next on the chopping block. The only thing I want to know is, guys, just give me a heads-up. That’s it. Don’t think I didn’t talk to someone and say, ‘Hey guys.’ You know why? Because I understand, like so many out there perhaps do not, that this is a young man’s business," he said.
The WWE Hall of Famer added:
"It’s a young woman’s business. Somebody at my age, if they’re not thinking about a phone call coming at some point in time, they’re delusional. They’re not thinking properly." [H/T: Fightful]

Booker T makes a wild WWE prediction!
In the same episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T predicted that R-Truth could finally win the World Heavyweight Championship following his shocking return at Money in the Bank.
Here's what he had to say about the fan favorite star:
"You know what I see? I see Ron Killings winning the World Heavyweight Championship. How crazy would that be? You know what? It would shake up the whole world. It’ll be the biggest thing since, you know, perhaps putting the title on Mick Foley, WCW, that night, you know, when everybody changed the channels to watch Mick Foley win… It could be unbelievable.” [H/T: WrestlingNewsCo]
R-Truth appears to have undergone a character change, cutting his braids off and reintroducing himself as Ron Killings on RAW this week. Will the 53-year-old legend be able to capture a WWE World Title in the coming months? Only time will tell.
