2024 was easily Jey Uso's best year in WWE as he became a top name outside of the tag team division. Recently, Main Event Jey addressed his heated rivalry with Drew McIntyre.

In 2023, Drew McIntyre was one of the few people who was against Main Event Jey's move to Monday Night RAW. The Scottish Warrior had his issues with The Bloodline, as the faction stopped him from becoming the World Champion on more than one occasion.

In a recent video on WWE's YouTube channel, participants from last year's WarGames sat down and rewatched the match. During this, Jey Uso stated he's glad that he doesn't have to go toe-to-toe with Drew McIntyre as The Scottish Warrior gave him hell for most of 2024.

"That's one person I'm glad I don't have to deal with no more, bro. He gave me hell all 2024," Uso said. (From 16:17 to 16:25)

Earlier this year, CM Punk returned to Monday Night RAW and feuded with Drew McIntyre. The two stars spent months feuding on-screen but only stepped inside the ring when both got cleared for in-ring competition.

Later, The Second City Saint and The Scottish Warrior scored a win over each other in Ohio and Berlin, respectively. The trilogy concluded when the two were locked inside Hell in a Cell in Atlanta, which CM Punk won after delivering a brutal GTS to Drew McIntyre.

On the RAW after the event, The Straight Edge Star announced his hiatus for a while after the hellacious Hell in a Cell match. On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, CM Punk returned to the Stamford-based company as the fifth man for The OG Bloodline.

This will be the star's first WarGames match, as he only made his return to the promotion at last year's event in Chicago. It'll be interesting to see if he and the team can score a win against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline.
