WWE has continued its momentum after the success of WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Last week's RAW had a lot of surprising moments, including Rhea Ripley vacating her Women's World Championship, Triple H revealing the new World Tag Team Title design, and more. One of the shocking moments came after the main event when a popular superstar turned heel.

Sami Zayn defended his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable last week on WWE RAW in Montreal, Canada. Both stars displayed incredible strength during the match and they took each other to their limits. In the end, Zayn retained his title and celebrated his victory with his hometown crowd and his wife. The former Honorary Uce also showed respect to Gable and raised his hand after the bout. However, moments later the Alpha Academy member attacked the champion, turning heel in the process.

Gable recently took to his social media account to send out a message ahead of this week's RAW. The 38-year-old star noted that he is excited to tell everyone about his future.

"I can tell you who I am. But I can double the excitement by telling you who I am becoming," he wrote.

WWE Superstar Chad Gable sent a message to Sami Zayn following his attack on RAW

Chad Gable's heel turn surprised a lot of fans last week. The RAW Superstar took to Instagram following his attack and sent a message to Sami Zayn.

On the Road to WrestleMania XL, Zayn defeated the Alpha Academy member in a Gauntlet match to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship against Gunther. Many believed Chad should have been the one to face The Ring General at WrestleMania. However, Gable trained Sami Zayn for his match against the Austrian star at The Show of Shows.

Due to the history between the two stars, the heel turn came as a surprise to many. Following his actions on WWE RAW, the former tag team champion took to social media to send a message to Sami Zayn. Gable posted a picture of him attacking the Intercontinental Champion and wrote:

"I've always been a believer that, no matter how long it takes, people get what they deserve in life. I was right once again," he wrote.

Gunther is set to return on the upcoming edition of WWE RAW for the first time since losing his title at WrestleMania. It would be interesting to see if The Ring General gets involved in this rival now that Gable has turned heel.
