Jey Uso losing his World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther on this week's WWE RAW came as a huge shock to the wrestling world. The Yeet Man's morale seems to have been deeply affected by the loss, as he has now deleted his earlier profile photo on Instagram and replaced it with a pitch-black background.

Jey had won the World Heavyweight Title less than two months back at WrestleMania 41. Moreover, since his popularity was only increasing with each passing week, fans were even more stunned to see WWE take the title off him so soon. However, Gunther is among the best in the business right now, and there's no doubt he could embark upon a title reign that could even surpass his first, 250+ day run with the gold.

While it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the former Bloodline member next, Jey Uso has grabbed the attention of his fans with his recent social media activity. The 39-year-old star, whose earlier Instagram display picture was of him with the World Heavyweight Title, has now removed it and replaced it with a black background.

The fact that Jey chose this rather than a picture of himself without the title speaks volumes about his current state of mind.

Vince Russo is not happy about Jey Uso's world title loss

Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda's Legion of RAW, the former WWE writer didn't hold back before blasting the company's booking of Jey and Gunther.

Vince Russo firmly believes that both title changes, The Ring General first losing at WrestleMania 41 and now Jey Uso, came at the wrong time. Russo added that the promotion had failed to present The Yeet Man as a worthy babyface champion.

"The whole development of Gunther and Jey, just taking the belt off of Gunther when they shouldn't have, and now just taking the belt off of Jey when I think they shouldn't have. I don't understand the rhyme or reason to it. It's usually a feel. You usually know. They were having a hard time building Jey, and I don't think this helps him in any way, shape, or form. Obviously, it helps Gunther. It's great for Gunther. You could tell Jey kind of wasn't feeling it, and I would've thought the most important thing was building his confidence."

Only time will tell if WWE's decision to put the World Heavyweight Championship back on Gunther so soon pays off or not.
