WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes that Karrion Kross could replace a former champion in the upcoming Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and go on to secure the win. Despite being one of the crowd favorites, the former Final Testament leader was not booked in any of the six qualifiers for the high-stakes match.
The 2025 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event will take place tomorrow night at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The men's ladder match will feature Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Penta, Solo Sikoa, El Grande Americano, and Andrade.
Speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray pointed out that Kross is over with the fans. The veteran said that although it is not likely to happen, there is a possibility of former WWE United States Champion Andrade getting knocked out backstage before the match, only to be replaced by Kross, who goes on to retrieve the briefcase.
"Karrion Kross is over in the people's eyes right now… He's got a little bit of a swell behind him. He's been doing a decent job. Now, whether or not the company believes in him, whether the company wants to do anything with him, whether or not there's something on the horizon for him, I could not tell you yes or no. What I do know is Karrion Kross has a little bit of a buzz. Maybe Andrade is knocked down in the back and maybe Karrion Kross comes in and wins this whole thing. Something completely out of left field… Probable? No. Possible? Absolutely," he said. [From 11:22 onwards]

Karrion Kross is open to making his AAA return
Before joining WWE, Kross wrestled for several promotions, including AAA, which has recently been acquired by the Stamford-based company. The RAW Superstar recently claimed he would love to go back to the Mexican promotion.
When asked about a potential return to AAA on The Ariel Helwani Show, Karrion responded by saying that he would love for that to happen. He added that Konnan had been showing interest in him for a while. The wrestling veteran is a member of the promotion's creative team.
"I would love that [an appearance back on AAA]. Konnan has been telling me for a while he wants to get me back down there in some sort of capacity," he said.
