Kevin Owens sent a message seemingly directed at John Cena. The former Universal Champion shared a photo of him wearing Cena's merchandise.
Owens has been feuding with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Following the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, he betrayed The American Nightmare for teaming up with Roman Reigns. He recently took Orton out of action after hitting him with a piledriver.
On X (fka Twitter), Owens sent a message while sporting Cena's shirt, stating he would've been much better and looked cooler.
"I would have been so much better. I’d have looked a lot cooler too," wrote Owens.

Owens and Cena have a lot of history with one another. The 40-year-old debuted on the main roster, responding to Cena's United States Championship open challenge. This set up a non-title match between the two superstars at the Elimination Chamber 2015 Premium Live Event, where Owens defeated Cena clean via pinfall.
In 2022, Owens teamed up with Cena to face The Bloodline duo of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Owens and Cena emerged victorious.
Kevin Owens revealed how John Cena treated him after joining WWE
Kevin Owens spoke highly of John Cena and opened up about sharing the ring with other WWE Superstars. He claimed that most of the roster had been amazing, and Cena's at the top of the list.
In a previous interview with WrestleRant, The Prizefighter said:
"I've been very lucky and fortunate to be in the ring with people I looked up to as I was coming up. And 99% of them have been amazing, and it's been so great to be around them and kind of getting to see that people I looked up to were, you know, as great as they seem to be on television, and, you know, John's at the top of that list, man,"
Owens will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.
