Naomi threatened to push a major WWE Superstar down a flight of stairs ahead of this week's episode of RAW. Tonight's episode of the red brand will feature the beginning of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
It was reported earlier today that the company is planning on having the Women's Money in the Bank winner battle Jade Cargill at Evolution 2 on July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia. Ahead of tonight's edition of RAW, the former champion threatened to push the former AEW star down a flight of stairs, as seen in her post below.
"Yeah a push down the stairs hahahhaha⚠️," she wrote.
The Glow defeated Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the PLE this past Saturday night. As a result of the victory, the veteran can cash in for a title shot at a time and place of her choosing within the next calendar year.
The 37-year-old was responsible for the attack on Jade Cargill on SmackDown in November 2024. Cargill missed several months following the attack but returned for revenge at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024. The former AEW star defeated Naomi in a singles match at WWE WrestleMania 41 earlier this year.
Major WWE star reveals Naomi is an inspiration for her
WWE RAW star Natalya shared that she views Naomi as an inspiration due to her recent success in the company.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Natalya praised the former SmackDown Women's Champion and explained why she was an inspiration to her. She noted that Triple H still believed in the SmackDown star late in her career and suggested that her time would come as well.
"Naomi is so inspiring to me because it's proof that Triple H is willing to invest in a talent that has been around for a long time. She, you know she has talked about how she has been waiting 15 years for this chance, to have this match. You know, like, well over a decade to have this moment. She started a couple of years after me. And so the fact that she is this deep into her career and Triple H sees so much value in her ability in the ring and her ability to tell stories, it is giving me so much inspiration and so much faith that you know, my time will come too." It will be interesting to see when Naomi decides to cash in her Money in the Bank contract in the weeks ahead on WWE television.
