Seth Rollins outlasted five other men to win the Money in the Bank ladder match for the second time in his WWE career. Jonathan Coachman has now revealed that he wouldn't mind if one of the defeated stars in that bout, LA Knight, joins The Visionary's faction.
This year's Money in the Bank Premium Live Event saw Seth Rollins compete against LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Penta, Andrade, and El Grande Americano in the high-stakes encounter. In the end, Rollins dropped Knight with a Stomp and retrieved the MITB briefcase to emerge victorious.
As for LA Knight, this is his third consecutive failure when it comes to Money in the Bank ladder matches. Taking to X/Twitter, Jonathan Coachman expressed disappointment with Knight's booking under Triple H.
"I feel bad for him. I really do. HHH say(s) 'great things come to those who wait'. He isn’t 22 years old. What does he have to wait for? Just say it wasn’t his time or something," Jonathan Coachman wrote.
The veteran then pitched LA Knight's name as a potential fourth member of Seth Rollins' faction, which already consists of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, plus Paul Heyman in a managerial role.
"If I didn’t feel so strongly that the WWE needs a faction again I would be more pro LA Knight to win the MITB. But I love dominant factions. Always have. So I am wanting to see where this goes and who they add to it. To be honest, we’ve been discussing who could be the fourth member of that group and if you say the name, LA Knight, I wouldn’t hate it. You’ve got two enforcers already. Why not have a guy who can talk really well has charisma and looks great in a suit. So maybe they could have a segment where Seth Ron [Rollins] said hey you really impressed me in there. What do you think about this. Or something like that," he added.
Potential reason for WWE Superstar not getting a push
Speaking on a recent edition of Writing with Russo, former WWE writer Vince Russo opened up about someone telling him that Triple H is not a fan of LA Knight.
Russo mentioned how Knight is pushed for a bit in the sports entertainment juggernaut before he is held back.
"I was told that Triple H does not like LA Knight. And you are seeing that, bro. LA Knight goes so far, then we pull him back. LA Knight goes so far, then we pull him back. And again, bro, that's the competition between the boys... It just boggles my mind because, bro, when you go back and you watch Vince McMahon, Vince never put himself front and centre." [9:30 onwards]
While LA Knight has won the United States Title on two occasions in WWE, he has yet to taste world championship success. Could he do it under Triple H's reign? Only time will tell.
