Former WWE Superstar Lana has been going through a rough patch lately. CJ Perry, known as Lana during her time in WWE, recently took to her social media handle to share unfortunate news about her grandmother.
The popular wrestling manager had suffered personal and professional setbacks this year. She announced her split from AEW star Miro, formerly known as Rusev, after seven years together.
Shortly after, CJ Perry parted ways with the Jacksonville-based promotion and has remained inactive ever since.
Earlier today, the formerly Lana took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo of her ailing 91-year-old Nana, who was admitted to the hospital overnight.

Will Lana return to WWE anytime soon?
Despite being let go by WWE in 2021, Lana has been open to working in her old stomping grounds again under a new regime.
In 2022, CJ Perry spoke to In The Kliq to discuss her potential WWE return. She called Triple H a creative genius for helping her evolve as the Ravishing Russian character and said she would come back if the story made sense.
"I'm open to everything in life," Lana began. "If I put my dreams in a box, I wouldn't be where I am today. So, I mean, Triple H, he's a genius. Stephanie's a genius. I got hired by Triple H. He paired me with Miro and helped really cultivate that, in 2014, that story and that gimmick and those characters. He really helped me develop the Ravishing Russian, so I think he has an incredible creative mind. I think he is an incredible storyteller and entertaining. If the story is right, if it makes sense, I'm always open to go back to WWE and tell compelling stories."
Perry recently asked her fans if they would like to see her on RAW's Netflix debut in January 2025. Will Lana return and recruit a new client? Only time will tell.
