A released WWE Superstar is already back in the gym following his surprising departure from the company. The promotion released several stars this past Friday night.

Jinder Mahal was let go by the promotion on Friday, along with Veer Mahaan, Sanga, Xia Li, and Xyonn Quinn. Mahal had a very interesting career with the promotion and defeated Randy Orton at Backlash 2017 to become the WWE Champion. AEW president Tony Khan mocked WWE's decision to have Seth Rollins defend his title against Jinder Mahal earlier this year.

Following his release, Jinder Mahal has taken to Instagram to reveal that he is already back in the gym. The veteran noted that the clock was ticking in his video seen below.

"Clockwork", wrote Mahal in the caption of his post.

Sanga opens up about his WWE release

Former WWE star Sanga was released this past Friday and has commented on the lack of Indian representation in the company.

Sanga uploaded a video to his official X (formerly Twitter) account after being let go by the company and noted that the promotion does not have any more Indian stars left on the roster. He added the company that is hoping to get viewership from India strangely does not appear to be focused on having talent from India on television to improve views.

"When it comes to viewership, you want it from India. You want viewership on Facebook from India, the same goes for views on YouTube and television. But, when it comes to talent from India, you're not encouraging it [...] It's sad, but you need to understand that we come from a land with 1.4 billion people, and they like you and us, and they want talented athletes from their home country to be represented and work on an international level. [...] It hurts when I hear this or think about it, but your company does not have any athletes from India," he said. [Translated from Hindi]

Jinder Mahal has accumulated many fans across the world during his time in the promotion. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the veteran, and where he will decide to perform next following his release by the Stamford-based company.
