According to a WWE veteran, Rhea Ripley's recent behavior on social media is a prime example of problems in the company. Former WWE head writer Vince Russo explained that although the company is soaring in popularity, the quality of storylines has degraded steeply.
Over the last few months with Triple H in power, talent has gotten much more freedom than they did under Vince McMahon's regime. This has resulted in them breaking character much more on social media. While stars like Drew McIntyre still maintain kayfabe on social media, Rhea Ripley is often seen posting about her real-life partner, Buddy Matthews.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo stated that the current bookings and storylines no longer engage people as much as they used to.

"I just feel like when you are watching these shows, nobody cares anymore. I am sorry, that's the way I feel. People were really invested in McMahon-Austin. People were invested in Undertaker-Kane. According to Vince Russo, Rhea's recent posts would have been enough reason for her to be fined if Vince McMahon was still in charge of WWE.
Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the veteran stated that Ripley should make more social media posts about the current storyline she is involved in with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
"Then Rhea Ripley is going on social media with her husband, serenading him at a fast food restuarant. What are we doing? (...)Bro if anything, that (Liv-Dom k*ss) should have happened on Monday Night, then we should have got a response from Rhea Ripley on social media. But now, we are getting Rhea Ripley, singing to her husband... If that were Vince McMahon back in the day, he would have been irate.
