The YEET Master defeated Gunther to win the title at WrestleMania 41. The Ring General reclaimed the gold in the main event of the latest edition of the red brand. Uso had only one successful defense during his championship reign, defeating Logan Paul at last month's Saturday Night's Main Event.

Earlier today, Rikishi took to his Instagram account to post a clip from his Off the Top podcast, sharing his honest opinion about Jey Uso's title reign coming to an end after just 51 days. The legend said that the writers did not do Uso justice by not giving him a fair run as a champion. He further called for the firing of those involved in writing Jey's storyline.

"You know what I feel? This is what I feel. I feel that those that are writing for this kid, his storyline, you didn't do him justice. You didn't feed this champion right talent to be able to continue to make this champion. Not a fair shot in my eyes. So you go 51 days. I say fire. Fire those that are writing for this kid here if you can't come up with something simple to promote and push your champion that you, not me, you decide to put this kid in that position," he said.

WWE legend shares his opinion on Jey Uso losing his title to Gunther

Wrestling veteran Matt Hardy shared his take on Jey Uso's shocking title loss on Monday Night RAW on the most recent edition of his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.

The 50-year-old said that he was fine with how the championship feud between Jey Uso and Gunther transpired. Hardy added he was excited to witness what's next for the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion after his impressive showing in the singles main event scene.

"The fact that he had that run and he lost it back to Gunther, even in that fashion, I like all that," Hardy said. "I'm fine with all that, and it's gonna be interesting to see what's next with Jey. Do The Usos come back and have a dominant tag team run? It's just nice that he was able to dip his toe, dip his feet into the waters of a main-event player. I think he earned that, and I'm glad he got the opportunity to do it." [From 23:57 to 24:20]
