Roman Reigns hasn't been seen for nearly two months now—specifically since WrestleMania 41 when he was betrayed by Paul Heyman. His future was briefly addressed on SmackDown.

In an unusual move, SmackDown before Money in the Bank 2025 opened with Seth Rollins' faction ahead of his big MITB ladder match on Saturday. The crowd was quick to chant "CM Punk" and "OTC" at him, showing support for his two biggest rivals in WWE.

Addressing Roman Reigns and the "OTC" chants, Seth Rollins said that The Tribal Chief is on the island of irrelevancy, where he was put after WrestleMania 41.

This, of course, was something the crowd didn't like as Reigns is a revered figure among WWE fans, especially in the last five years after his incredible run with the (Undisputed) Universal Championship.

Following this, Reigns' former Bloodline member, Solo Siko, came out with Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo. As you probably know, Sikoa is one of the key names in the Money in the Bank ladder match, and if some reports are to be believed, he is one of the favorites to win the match.

There was a lot of tension between the two groups on SmackDown just a night before MITB.
