WWE Superstar Seth Rollins emerged victorious from the six-man ladder match to secure the 2025 Money in the Bank briefcase. In the wake of this win, former WWE star Aiden English (Matthew Rehwoldt) recently weighed in with his thoughts on who The Architect might target for a championship cash-in.
On the REBOOKED podcast, Matthew Rehwoldt laid out a possible scenario where CM Punk would defeat Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title down the line. Then, The Visionary would immediately cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to claim the championship from The Second City Saint.
"I think CM Punk beats whoever it is, Gunther probably for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Seth Rollins immediately cashes in [MITB briefcase] on Punk," he said.
The former WWE star further predicted this chain of events would set up a championship showdown between a babyface CM Punk and a heel Seth Rollins in the main event of WrestleMania 42.
"I think they [WWE] see lot of money still in this feud and I think it leads to Punk and Seth at WrestleMania 42 in Vegas—main event—Punk wins a damn title. And I think that's where Punk finally gets his—he got his Mania main event, I think he wants to win the championship at Mania, truly in his heart of hearts," he added. [From 50:30 to 51:05]

Gunther says he is not afraid of Seth Rollins cashing in his WWE MITB briefcase on him
For those unaware, The Ring General faced Jey Uso on this week's RAW for the World Heavyweight Championship. The 37-year-old star defeated Uso to become a two-time world champion.
Speaking on the RAW Recap podcast, Gunther asserted that he was not afraid of The Architect possibly cashing in his WWE Money in the Bank contract on him.
"Seth Rollins has got the Money in the Bank briefcase. Good for him. When I was champion the last time, he was nowhere to be seen. So, let's see if he feels a little bit more confident now as the briefcase holder with his set of new friends [Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, & Bronson Reed]—maybe he feels a little bit more confident now. And just in general, [for] everybody else, I am not intimidated by anyone, I am not afraid of anyone," he said.
Fans will have to wait and see if CM Punk and Gunther will finally collide for the world title, creating a scenario where Seth Rollins could seize his chance to finally cash in his MITB briefcase.
