Sheamus picked up a win against a veteran for the first time on WWE RAW.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been a part of WWE for several years now. During his NXT days, Nakamura was a dominant NXT Champion and as soon as he got promoted to the main roster, he won the Royal Rumble. However, since then, it has gone downhill for the King of Strong Style. Nakamura has been struggling to stay relevant on the main roster and even lost a feud with Cody Rhodes last year.

On the other hand, Sheamus had been delivering consistent performances before he got injured last year. After spending several months on the shelf, he made his return to the ring last week. Tonight on RAW, the Celtic Warrior and Shinsuke Nakamura were set to go one-on-one.

Before the match, the Celtic Warrior confronted Drew McIntyre, who was complaining about his loss at WrestleMania 40. The Celtic Warrior asked his best friend to get over the loss and stop blaming everyone else. After a back-and-forth exchange, Drew said that he would sit at ringside and watch his back.

Nakamura came into this match with a clear game plan to target the Celtic Warrior's surgically repaired neck. However, the Irishman still prevailed and emerged victorious after hitting the Brogue Kick.

It will be interesting to see if Sheamus will begin feuding with Drew McIntyre after tonight's exchange.
