Stephanie McMahon's last WWE appearance was at the 2024 Draft in April after an unannounced promo segment at WrestleMania XL. She has confirmed her status for WrestleMania 41 in Paradise, Nevada, over Easter weekend in 2025.
Meanwhile, The Billion Dollar Princess has sent a message to the WWE Universe regarding Veteran's Day. She took a moment to express gratitude.
On Instagram, Stephanie shared a quote from Frontlines by Tyler Kinch, tipping her hat and raising a glass to the veterans for their service, and reminding everyone that "freedom isn't free" on this special occasion.
"Thank you and your families for your sacrifice. “Freedom isn’t free.” 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay 🎵: “Frontlines” by Tyler Kinch," Stephanie McMahon captioned her post.
Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE in January 2023 after her father rejoined. However, a year later, Vince McMahon was forced to relinquish his position and cut ties with the company he helped build up. While the former chairman is dealing with legal battles, Stephanie's potential re-entry into the Stamford-based promotion is open-ended as of this writing.
Stephanie McMahon's star player in WWE will retire from in-ring competition after WrestleMania 41
If it wasn't for Stephanie McMahon, WWE's poster boy of the previous era, and arguably the biggest globally recognized star from the professional wrestling business, would not have made it.
The man in question is John Cena. During a conversation with Andrew Santino on Whisky Ginger last year, Cena opened up about how he nearly got fired early in his career but then Stephanie was impressed with his freestyle rapping. She auditioned him extempore.
"She was head of writing at the time. She was like, 'How did you remember all that?' I kind of explained the concept of freestyle and she's like, 'Well make something up about me right now.' Sure enough on the spot, I spit a few bars."
John Cena will retire from in-ring competition sometime in December 2025. He has confirmed his Farewell Tour for next year, which will commence in January. WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will be the last time he competes on The Grandest Stage Of Them All. Next year also marks WWE RAW's move to Netflix, so one can expect Cena to be featured on the flagship show.
