WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently praised Pat McAfee's selling of the Stunner at WrestleMania 38.

Last year, McAfee went head-to-head against Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38. After the former NFL player defeated the current United States Champion, he challenged Vince McMahon to an impromptu match. However, McAfee lost the bout to Mr. McMahon, who received help from Theory.

As The Chairman and his then-protege celebrated their victory, Steve Austin headed to the ring and delivered a Stone Cold Stunner to Theory and McMahon. As he celebrated with McAfee, Austin, in vintage Stone Cold fashion, suddenly hit the former SmackDown color commentator with a Stunner as well.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Austin praised McAfee as he recalled their WrestleMania moment.

"[Pat McAfee's sell on you stunner at WrestleMania, where does that rank all time?] Man, top three. Top three. And I gotta say top three because I mean, you know, The Rock is number one the way he oversold and Scott Hall and some of the other guys that took it but I mean the way he, you know, Pat has a natural feel for the business, epic performer, great on the stick, athletically, you know, that match he had with Theory was awesome," he said.

The WWE Hall of Famer added:

"And then the kicker was, not only the sell of the stunner but I don't know if I threw him out of the ring or he ended up out of the ring, but to lay there selling, still guzzling the beer, the presence of mind to ad-lib and improvise like this is a moment without even thinking about it. You know, I think he's amazing, he's very entertaining, and as a human being, I like him a whole lot." [03:28 to 04:23]
