WWE News: Stone Cold Steve Austin encounters Alligator on the Broken Skull ranch, posts video

Austin enjoys spending time on his ranch

What’s the story?

Stone Cold Steve Austin was apparently driving around his South Texas “Broken Skull” ranch in his Kawasaki Mule when he came across an Alligator on his property. Austin took a video of him coming face to face with the Alligator and uploaded it on Instagram.

In case you didn’t know...

Stone Cold Steve Austin, who is a multiple time WWE World Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer (Class of 2009), is undoubtedly one of the most famous WWE Superstars ever.

Not only is Austin known for his in-ring achievements and accomplishments, but he has also made a name for himself in Hollywood as well as with several television appearances. Austin also happens to own the 2000-acre South Texas property, where the Alligator in question was found.

The property is owned by Austin himself and is called the “Broken Skull Ranch”. The ranch has a mansion which serves as a residence for Austin. The property which as several deer and other forms of wildlife, runs across the Nueces River which hosts plenty of Alligators in it.

The heart of the matter

One one of his usual rounds of the large property which has several ponds, barns and wells, Austin came across an American Alligator. The Alligator also came out of the water and looked right at Austin in anticipation of food (according to Austin), Austin took a video of the encounter in response.

Austin’s narration in the video where he contemplates feeding the Alligator is partially quoted as follows:

“Hey, it’s Steve Austin at the Broken Skull ranch. Alligator, has just come up to the Kawasaki Mule. He’s very curious. He’s wondering if maybe I have brought him some food. I have not.”

Austin also estimated the length of the Alligator at about six feet. Here is his actual Instagram post in question:

What’s next?

Stone Cold Steve Austin, besides enjoying his time at his ranch, also runs his podcast, “The Steve Austin Show”, which can be heard via PodcastOne. Austin’s podcast was initially on the WWE Network but was then taken off of it, with the purported reason being that it was deemed “too real”.

The Alligator, on the other hand, looks in great health and will most probably spend the rest of his years at Austin’s ranch in peace.

Author’s take

The Alligator appears to be completely healthy and at peace with Steve Austin, so there’s not much to comment upon there.

Steve Austin should probably avoid entertaining any ideas about feeding the Alligators, however, as several accidents have been caused due to such attempts in the past. As far as Austin and the WWE are concerned, I hope they make amends and Austin’s podcast is brought back to the network as soon as possible.
