Former WWE head writer Vince Russo believes Ilja Dragunov won't get over on the main roster.
The former NXT Champion was drafted to Monday Night RAW on Night Two of the WWE Draft. Dragunov has been a force to be reckoned with on NXT and recently dropped the NXT Championship to Trick Williams. The ferocious superstar also has a deep history with Gunther and is one of the few to have defeated the Ring General.
However, Vince Russo stated on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW that he believes Ilja Dragunov will be in the same spot a year from now.

Dragunov and Gunther are once again on the same brand, which has left fans elated about a possible rematch. The duo tore the house down when they collided for the NXT UK Championship in 2021.
