Top WWE Superstar could have his entrance theme reimagined, according to the man behind Cody Rhodes' Kingdom

Cody Rhodes' Kingdom was composed by Downstait.

Darren Zachary "Zack" Call, the lead singer of Downstait, has revealed that he plans on writing the lyrics for the entrance theme of a popular WWE star - one-half of the current tag team champions, Kevin Owens.

Downstait's "Kingdom," which Cody Rhodes uses currently, has become one of the most popular wrestling songs of all time.

During an interview with Cultaholic, Zack Call revealed that the band's previously written song "Redesign Rebuild Reclaim" for Seth Rollins - based on The Visionary's earlier entrance theme which the latter used following his split from The Shield - was done after a poll conducted to fans:

"Here’s one that I wanna get going for this and hopefully we can use you and just plug a little bit. We did the Seth Rollins thing by just doing a tweet and saying, ‘Hey, what song would you like to have lyrics on it right now?’ And Seth Rollins won the poll by a small margin over Kevin Owens. So, we always thought it sounded something like we would’ve written anyways," Zack Call said.

He then showed interest in writing lyrics for the entrance theme of Kevin Owens:

"Maybe there’s some Kevin Owens lyrics coming. Just for the fans. It’s not something WWE wants but, the Seth Rollins one is just for the fans as well and that one kind of took off. So maybe there’s some Kevin Owens lyrics coming." [H/T: POST Wrestling]

The Prizefighter turned 39 three days ago, on May 7th. After nearly six years, Kevin Owens finally once again won a title in WWE, at WrestleMania no less, alongside his longtime frenemy Sami Zayn.

Another WWE RAW star negotiated for Downstait's song as their entrance theme

Chelsea Green returned to the Stamford-based promotion at the Royal Rumble earlier this year. Her entrance theme prior was Downstait's Hot Mess. Despite trying to retain the song, Green ultimately had to let it go:

"So that’s the one that got away (Chelsea Green’s ‘Hot Mess’ theme) because when she returned at Royal Rumble, we were talking to her and she was in negotiations to keep the song and it didn’t play out the same way that it did with Cody (Rhodes) which was some long conversations with their lawyers and the head of their WWE Music, Cody and the band. Chelsea, I don’t know if it wasn’t because she wasn’t as hot coming back in or what it was but she didn’t have the leverage to use the song and she did try really, really hard but, d*mn I want WWE to hear that one because it’s a banger." While the company did not use the Downstait song for Seth Rollins, it's possible that WWE could utiliize their version of Kevin Owen's "Fight," now that The American Nightmare's song has become a massive hit.
