WWE Superstar Kairi Sane recently came under fire from Mark Henry for an apparent mistake she made at WrestleMania 40. This has prompted a comment from another veteran, EC3.

Kairi and other members of Damage CTRL had a massive tag match against the trio of Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi on Night One of 'Mania XL. During the babyfaces' entrance and eventual showboating inside the ring, Kairi was seen lingering around for an extra few seconds before exiting. This led to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry reacting rather furiously.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 stated his belief that it may simply have been a careless mistake with no malicious intent.

"I think over the gloss of all the training she has gotten, it probably being in NXT in the system even though they are practicing, they are not practicing little things. Like the heel should powder out on defeat. So I think it was completely, just a blank moment for her, so to speak. Like she didn't understand or get it. You know, not at all her fault trying to like damper the babyfaces' big win, and that's what I think happened," said EC3. [2:13 onwards]

The WWE Hall of Famer's comment also got a response from Dakota Kai

Mark Henry's enraged words garnered a reaction from Kairi Sane's Damage CTRL stablemate, Dakota Kai.

Attempting to dispel the question of Kairi's respect for the pro wrestling business, Dakota took to social media and stated:

"I love and respect Kairi Sane/Hojo, and she loves and respects this business."

This further got a reply from Kairi herself, who acknowledged the kind words.

"I love and respect you too🥰 Thank you for everything," Sane wrote.

Damage CTRL is currently licking their wounds after they were defeated at WWE WrestleMania 40, and it remains to be seen what they plan to do next.
