WWE faction vows to "bring the heat" tonight on SmackDown

Tonight
Tonight's SmackDown will air live from Nebraska.

A faction has made a bold claim ahead of a grudge match tonight on WWE SmackDown.

Tonight's edition of the blue brand will take place in Nebraska and the weather conditions in the area have already caused some difficulty for superstars traveling to the show. Damage CTRL's Bayley is scheduled to battle Bianca Belair tonight in a singles match.

Cameron Grimes is also set to take on Grayson Waller tonight. Grimes has not competed in a match on the blue brand since his loss to Waller on November 17, 2023. Latino World Order's Joaquin Wilde and Crus Del Toro will be taking on Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza in a grudge match tonight. Garza and Carrillo have aligned with Santos Escobar on the main roster after he betrayed the LWO at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.

Ahead of tonight's edition of SmackDown, WWE shared a video of the LWO members arriving at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. They warned Garza and Carrillo ahead of their tag team match and vowed to "bring the heat" tonight on SmackDown.

"It might be cold out here, but the LWO is bringing the heat tonight baby," said Joaquin Wilde.

WWE veteran believes there are too many members of LWO on SmackDown

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell believes there is a lot of potential in the Latino World Order, but also thinks the group is a little crowded.

Speaking on an episode of Smack Talk in October 2023, Dutch Mantell noted that there is still a ton of potential with the LWO faction if booked correctly. The veteran added that there are too many "hanger-ons" in the group and he wouldn't give up on them yet.

"They were kind of getting a little warmed up. I think there are too many hanger-ons around the LWO that they don't really do anything with. But at least they are there, and let's see where they go with it. I wouldn't give up on them yet; I think there is still potential in that group. I do think there are too many of them."
